RV Trip

We got on the road at 6:30 Saturday morning and made it as far as Owassa Alabama.
This is the RV park we spent our first night in. It is owned by Clifford and Kay Evans. A really out of the way but cute spot.

Here is where you check in. We arrive around 3:30 the sign on the door said pick a spot we will be back at 7:00.
So we picked out our spot and got settled in. They did come around at 7:00 to collect $13.00 for our site.
Kay gave us a cute bookmark and neat little card thanking us for our stay. That will be going in my scrapbook.

America pride is big in Alabama as you can see from their display of our flag at the entrance to the RV park.
We left there at 7:30 am and headed for Natchez via the Natchez Trace and on into Vicksburg Mississippi.
Along the Natchez Trace we saw evidence of hurricane Ike many trees had been up rooted. Vicksburg looks interesting and we will be here for 3 or 4 days. I'll send more pictures as I get them.
